Wine Label Redesign

The brief for this project required a full label redesign for a chosen wine brand, including all legal information such as alcohol content, standard drinks, barcodes, etc. These designs are also created to size specifications pre-determined by the chosen wine bottle model (Orora AG007C12).

My label design is inspired by the bold and eclectic illustrative labels of Konpira Maru’s range of sparkling and pet nat wines. Vector artwork is completed in Adobe Illustrator, with compilation and layouts assembled in Adobe InDesign. All designs were set for print with a spot colour guideline for a die-cut sticker printer and proofed using custom-built profiles in InDesign’s Preflight tool. These labels were then printed and applied to a physical wine bottle and photographed for a mock client presentation.
