‘Brood Coffee’ Web Design

This brief required a full brand design and web and UI/UX design for a chosen client:

Brood Coffee is a fictional, independent cafe and roastery located in Melbourne, VIC. As well as offering a sit-in cafe location serving coffee and brunch foods, Brood Coffee also roasts and produces their very own signature line of coffee blends, and sells merchandise such as t-shirts and tote bags. These are available for purchase both in-store and online. Brood Coffee is proudly Melburnian and highly invested in the local community. They are transparent about their manufacturing process and strive to source their coffee ethically. They also donate
a portion of their sales to local charities around Melbourne, with a focus on underrepresented individuals and communities. Brood Coffee welcomes a wide variety of patrons and serves both local customers and tourists at their cafe location. Their most dedicated customers are ‘coffee snobs’ with an interest in artisan coffee. Brood Coffee required the interface design to include a number of pages, including a shopping gallery for coffee and merchandise, an about section detailing the company’s values, an FAQ, etc.

This project saw us designing a brandmark and web design for our brand from scratch, including designing a mini style guide (pictured below), packaging designs, and iconography for the site, generating user personas based on self-conducted surveys, and testing our product with real-world users.
