‘I sent my dream to print’ Artbook

I sent my dream to print is a collaborative artbook publication, created by over 30 of RMIT University’s Diploma of Graphic Design students. The aim of this project was for the students to come together as a team to produce a student publication showing their work under one encompassing theme. Funding for this project was achieved through a Kickstarter campaign, where we reached $4,059, doubling our initial goal of $2,000. We worked with local printers to realise the publication and worked in teams to coordinate the project's timeline and develop the look and feel as a cohesive team project.

I took on a joint role with another student as the Kickstarter manager. This role involved setting up the Kickstarter by generating text and imagery, creating announcements, and general maintenance of the page. Through this I was also heavily involved with the video promotion team, creating a short rotoscoped animation in Adobe Animate and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. This video can still be found on the project’s Kickstarter page, linked below.

This artbook features 3 double-page spreads of my own original work, including 35mm and 110 film photography, and a short comic-style illustration.

The hugely successful Kickstarter campaign can still be found on the Kickstarter website here.
